IMAGYRO Magazine

The very wonderful folks at Imagicopter, creators of IMAGYRO magazine (a free promotional magazine that promotes new talent in the arts) Have given Cookie the honor of having her own comic spot in each month’s issues! Now you can see Cookie comics, both old and new, featured on the printed and pdf versions of the magazine.

I encourage everyone to check out their website promoting the group and it’s magazine and please take the time to read some of the interesting and entertaining articles the magazine features. My personal favorite is story time with “IK” King of the Trolls! And if you can’t find a hard copy of the magazine issue at your local convention or Imagicopter event, you can download a pdf version of the magazine for free!

Yes, free! Can’t beat that. Not to mention that I did a 4 full page Imagicopter-themed Cookies & Cream special for the April Issue of IMAGYRO Magazine, which you can only find there for now as I do not have plans currently to post the special issue on this website just yet. Perhaps later down the line, but I want to encourage folks to give the magazine a gander.

Experimentation

I’m fiddling around with the CSS of this site in order to make a look that’s more stylized to fit the comic, rather than the basic look that comes with ComicPress. Because of this you might notice some odd, vaguely cubist, phenomena result while I play god with the code. However I think the end result will be much better looking than the drab black and white scheme I have going on now. If you have any suggestions of color schemes that you would like to see, let me know. I’m always open to feedback.

Updated the site to the newest version of Comicpress and WordPress. Good news is that it makes a lot more features available. Bad news is that I have to redesign the theme all over again. Oh well, this site needed a new look, and this gives me the nudge to do so.

Also, as you can see, there’s a new Cookie comic! It’s good to finally get the chance to update the comic after all this time, and I hope I have the time to do more updates more often in the future. In other cool news, the Cookies & Cream comic has syndication! Imagyro Magazine, official promotional ‘zine of Imagicopter, is posting Cookies & Cream strips in their monthly issues. They are a great promotional group for artists and writers, and are definitely worthy of any reader support! So make sure to look for them at the next convention you attend!
